i s tebou + DOHOR + Zimní pneu casiometal

music
One. Two. Three great concerts in ARŠE+!

On April 24, the coolness of autotune will meet the warmth of a campfire and the dust from the depths of Casio keyboards. Come lose yourself in the mists over the Vltava River and in lyrics that, instead of grand gestures, seek out fragments of everyday life and inner turmoil.

i s tebou

A Prague-based band straddling the line between alternative pop and bedroom trap; their music and lyrics reveal strong influences from folk, ecumenical songs, Czech post-punk, and a familiarity with experimental electronic music. In their work, they blend autotuned vocals, post-pop arrangements, and fragmentary lyrics that capture intimate moments, existential uncertainty, and a quiet longing for meaning. Their debut EP *sns léto* (Bad Names, 2021) plays with the contrast between a summer idyll and inner restlessness—behind images of ponds, pine trees, and gardens lies an open, unironic sadness. Their visuals draw on post-internet aesthetics and strive to capture the fleeting moment of a live performance.

DOHOR

DOHOR is a quartet of musicians who, aside from a long-standing friendship, shared trips, and playing board games, have almost nothing in common musically. And yet they came together to join forces. The result is the self-titled EP DOHOR, in whose brooding sound organ tones fade into the mists of the Vltava riverbanks and the smoke of a smoldering fire, and where autotune settles on the lichen in the morning.

Zimní pneu casiometal

Casio? Watches. Calculators. But also metal. This is proven by Zimní Pneu’s 6th album, released traditionally on the Polí5 label. Keyboards from the attic in a cover featuring a photo of Michael Jackson in an unconventional take. A failed attempt at minimalism. MAXI King. Many layers of keyboards, including preset loops, DEMO. Tempo all over the place. Distortion through a preamp and lots of spring reverb. Flagellant, tearful lyrics. Industrial from the hell of the supermarket. On the border of awkwardness and intensity.
